Daily updates of snow conditions

Everyone who spend time in the mountains know there always is a certain risk of avalanches. Especially in the Lyngen Alps, where the weather and snow conditions can change fast. Unfortunately we`ve had our share of tragic accidents. Last year 5 people died in a tragic accident in the nearby mountains. With the peak season closing in, we therefor want to remind you to always concider the safety before skiing. If possible, always talk to experienced guides or locals. There is also a new webpage, www.varsom.no. Here you`ll find daily reports on snow/weather conditions. But remember not to trust the data blindfolded.
